Steal this Idea: Real-world AI strategies for grantmakers

Wednesday, October 28 at 1:00pm ET

‍

AI presents a huge opportunity for grantmakers. The big question is how to fold it into your work responsibly and strategically. Right now, one of the best ways to realize that potential is by learning from grantmakers who are already doing it.

This three-part series steps through every level of the adoption process—from experimentation all the way through governance and organizational infrastructure.

Each live episode features a case study of a grantmaker already using AI in their work.

Part 1: Responsible AI experimentation

What conditions allow responsible AI experimentation? This session explores the organizational conditions—trust, leadership, values, and boundaries around human judgment—that make responsible experimentation possible.

This live episode explores:

  • Organizational and cultural readiness for AI
  • Values as criteria for experimentation
  • Human judgment, risk, and relationships

Learning objectives

‍At the end of the session, attendees will be able to:

  • Identify the organizational conditions that support responsible AI experimentation
  • Recognize the overlapping influences of trust, boundaries, and human judgment in experimenting with AI
  • Create a values-based plan for AI experimentation in their organization
