Beyond the Rubric: Designing Grant Panels for Democratic Consensus with the Jerome Foundation

When grant review panels overly rely on numerical scores, the selection process devolves into a math exercise rather than evaluating true mission alignment.

Join Andrea Brown, Grants and Operations Manager at the Jerome Foundation, as she shares her experience creating a review framework that prioritizes democratic consensus over the numbers game. You’ll learn how to overhaul your review panel process to remove administrative noise, front-load hard decisions, and foster more meaningful dialogue and values-driven decision-making.
