Improve Equity with #FixTheForm

The data is clear: Funders can create lasting progress towards equity with small fixes to their grant application form. In this special event, Submittable’s VP of Social Impact Sam Caplan will facilitate a conversation and live form assessment with Kari Aanestad, Co-Director of GrantAdvisor.com and co-founder of #FixTheForm.

#FixTheForm is a grassroots international movement to identify and fix the worst elements of funding application forms that waste time and money. After analyzing 2,500 reviews of foundations on GrantAdvisor.org and launching a survey of nonprofits that garnered 500 responses from 9 countries in less than four weeks, Aanestand and Laura Solomons isolated key pain points for grant seekers and pinpointed steps funders can take to improve their process.

Join #FixTheForm’s movement by joining us online, August 25, 2021. And keep a link to your own organization’s grant application form handy—we’ll reserve the last 15 minutes for Q&A and audience form assessment (first come, first served).

This webinar will include:

  • The history and methodology behind #FixtTheForm

  • Key strategies for identifying and fixing burdensome grant application forms

  • Insight into the future of accessible, equitable grantmaking

  • Examples of #FixTheForm in action

  • Live form assessments via chat

  • Audience Q&A
